Melon Cocktail

Rain, rain all day.  We enjoyed our 'Melon Cocktail' inside to stay dry.  The recipe is on page 121 of  The Bartender's Guide. It was a pretty good drink.

For one drink:

2 oz Gin (Seagram's Extra Dry)
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Maraschino (Luxardo)

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.
Serve with a cherry (and an orange section, if you want).
