I picked out an 'Alaska Cocktail' (page 28 in our 1985 bartender's guide)
Olga's sister and husband just took a cruise to Alaska - I wonder if they tried one of these? --nah.
Recipe:
2 dashes orange bitters
1 1/2 oz gin
3/4 oz yellow Chartreuse
Stir with ice and strain into cocktail glass (I shook gently, instead).
The taste of Chartreuse was reminiscent of Suze that I tried in France years ago.
