Day 15 is here -
We spent the day in Baton Rouge getting the car worked on and shopping in the Mall of Louisiana. We got some new glasses! Also found a jigger at Albertson's that had 1/2, 1 and 1 1/2 oz markings - it really helps when doubling these recipes.
Tonight we have a 'Spencer Cocktail' (found on page 164):
3/4 oz apricot brandy
1 1/2 oz gin
1 dash bitters
1/4 tsp orange juice
Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.
Add a cherry and twist of orange peel.
I cut down on the bitters and omitted the orange peel (I didn't have an orange and the bitters make it too bitter for us!)
